The Adventure Passport features 13 new stops throughout Bruce County. Be aware of detours, and don’t be afraid to park your vehicle and run, walk or bike to find the next stop. There are some extra twists and turns!

Georgian Bay, Manitoulin, Haliburton Tour

 

This tour takes us all around scenic Georgian Bay. We enjoy riding through bucolic countryside in Southern Ontario, viewing sandy beaches along Lake Huron before heading to the rugged Bruce Peninsula. We visit the world's largest fresh water island, Manitoulin Island or 'Place of the Great Spirit', lures many to its seemingly endless shorelines. With a vibrant native community and an interesting lineage from European settlers, Manitoulin Island offers an array of cultural attractions. On the return trip, we get to enjoy the intense solidness and beauty of the Canadian Shield. A great way to unwind and you'll return wanting to come back for more!

Georgian Bay And Manitoulin Pow Wow 

Our route takes us across the Bruce Peninsula, where the rugged terrain and natural beauty will leave you spellbound. Continuing on to Tobermory, we'll catch the M.S. Chi-Cheemaun (The Big Canoe) to South Baymouth.

Beaver Valley and the Bruce

Tours happen June 2-3 & September 15-16th, Book Early.

The Bruce Peninsula is wildly beautiful and rugged. We'll have a chance to travel the coastline of Lake Huron and take the opportunity to visit a quaint lighthouse before stopping for the night.

We'll spend the night at Taylor-made B&B in Lion's Head. You'll enjoy the warm hospitality of owners and fellow riders Dave and Barbara. Watch the amazing night sky from the outdoor hot tub. Dinner will be at a nearby local eatery.

Beaver Valley

Total Distance: Approx. 300 km. Dates: August 26, 2007 - Ladies only

Beaver Valley has been designated a World Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO. Secondary paved roads follow the Niagara Escarpment north with long sweeping curves pass scenery encompassing apple orchards, dense woodlands, rugged cliffs, beautiful vistas overlooking the valley and Georgian Bay. A casual, enjoyable ride with lots of photo ops. We'll stop for lunch in a local eatery.
